Dinner and a Movie Annual Fundraiser Event | Leo Carrillo Ranch

Every year the City of Carlsbad comes together for their biggest event at the Ranch; their annual Dinner and a Movie Fundraiser to support the arts and education! To start, the guests are welcomed with an expansive silent auction, then they are presented with a delicious gourmet dinner hosted by Personal Touch Dining, and finished off the night with a feature film of Leo Carrillo’s “What’s Cookin”. In our cabana was a self-made paper flower photo booth for the guests to enjoy snap shots, and also showcased around were artwork made by Carlsbad 4th grade students participating in the park’s Californian History and Art Program.

Lets just stop for a minute, and take in the true essence of beauty in this wedding. To start, N + G celebrated a heartfelt ceremony with an added wine box ceremony to join the unity of the two. From there, we witnessed every little detail that the couple took the time to make their special day come to life. With the own bride’s jaw dropping signage implicated throughout the venue,  a reception designed to make you swoon, Serendipity Events putting together the bright and luscious floral, and just love and genuine happiness from the couple themselves their perfect day radiated throughout the Ranch and we were so happy to have shared it with them.

Anne + Chad | Love and Peacocks at the Ranch | Leo Carrillo Ranch

We always love having different themes at the Ranch. Like this one, this couple brought all things western, rustic, and a touch of peacock! For their ceremony, they were joined together under our Wash House vined with loose greenery and floral by Suzan Merrill. As their big day went on, they were showered with a delicious cupcake bar from Sweet Cheeks Baking Company, shared laughter and smiles on that dance floor thanks to DJ Andy, and Heather Elise Photography created the magic with her impeccable shots for A + C.

Jenni + Philip | A Night To Remember | Leo Carrillo Ranch

True Photography did an amazing job with capturing everything that the Ranch has to offer for J + P’s special day. Between the fine details on their floral from Elegant Touch Floral Designs and a show stopping lounge set up by To Be Designed, it all came together to set the perfect tone for the perfect day. Having to witness this day, they were gathered by close family and friends for an intimate and gorgeous night to remember.

Colleen + Irvin | A Blissful Wedding | Leo Carrillo Ranch

It gives us great joy to share this simple, yet blissful wedding of C + I. We witnessed this couple’s infectious smiles and humble personalities. Their florist, Tessa Drysdale, complimented the venue with the florals enhancing colors and assorted centerpieces. Mariachi Fiesta Mexicana performed for both their ceremony and cocktail hour, giving that extra charm to their special day. To top it off, Hazelnut Photography took detailed photos, that even our special friends from the Ranch were able to sneak in to make C + I’s photos that much more magical.

Ceremony time calls for a beautiful day, beautiful vows and a beautiful bride.

Farm Tables at the Ranch always make a statement no matter what is showcased on them.

C + I’s first dance along with their parent dances leave us with smiles and heart filled love on that dance floor.

Taylor + Saif | Love Grows at the Ranch | Leo Carrillo Ranch

We celebrated a couple that charmed us with both their beauty and love. As always at the Ranch, S & T recited their vows under our Pepper Tree witnessed by their loved ones, thanked them with personalized succulents, and danced the rest of the night away. The blooming floral, by Irises Designs, adorned the venue with different hues of purple, and Taylor Kinzie Photography captured those epic shots of their special day.

We absolutely love when we get those couples who are all for the rustic charm of the Ranch. S + F made it clear they wanted to go with that theme to where saddles, lassos, and even moss covered cowboy boots and hats were implicated throughout the venue. It was a beautiful day for these two and their adorable plus one! 🙂

Show Stopping Centerpieces at the Ranch | Leo Carrillo Ranch

From the moment our guests step down from the ceremony to the reception, the first thing that captures their eyes are the exquisite tables displaying none other than the choice of centerpieces that our brides envisioned for their big day. At the Ranch, we’ve seen them all, from the most simple to the most green; well… you can never have TOO much green here 🙂 The outcome of the centerpieces leave us absolutely speechless with how breath taking it all comes together.

A traditional single floral arrangement on our tables make a perfect simple yet elegant statement.

We’ve had brides go with a raw, organic look to their tables and incorporate loose greenery surrounding lanterns, terrarium vases, or candles.

We always love our brides who put their own personality and creativity in their thought process when putting together their centerpieces.

And of course, you can not forget about our farm tables. Anything and everything looks well crafted on them. Mainly, our brides will go with just a garland and call it a day, and others will choose different arrangements to showcase along the tables.

With the Ranch’s flawless charm, centerpieces give that additional show stopping picturesque to our couples special day.

We always love when couples add something blue to the Ranch. T + A brought all things blue to their wedding day and though the little details were more on the simple side, everything came together with true beauty – simplicity at its finest!

It was an honor to witness this couple tie the knot and enjoy the rest of their blissful night as Mr. and Mrs.

They even had a poll for their guests.. and guess who “wore the cake” in the relationship..

And a perfect dance to end the night!

Elisa + Jay | A Cultural Affair | Leo Carrillo Ranch

We get the best of both of worlds when two cultures come together as one at the Ranch. To begin the nuptials,  E + J were joined by their close family in a private Traditional Tea Ceremony, followed by a second ceremony for the rest of their family and friends.  Pops of red, orange and yellow were vibrantly displayed throughout the venue, along with the classic Chinese Lanterns. This warm and positive couple surely knew how to keep a party going with their infectious smiles and enthusiasm on the dance floor. Many thanks to Studio 19 Photography for sharing snapshots of their big day with us.

After the beautifully intricate beadwork and design on their Tea Ceremony outfits, E J changed into her alluring A-Line bridal gown while Jay fit handsomely in his tux accompanied by his very dapper bow tie! 😉
