Harmony and Matt – Laid Back Wedding with Soft Pink Tones

Wedding Season is in full swing at Leo Carrillo Ranch and we are loving it! And to make it even sweeter, we are still receiving the photos from last season. We were just sent Harmony and Matt’s photos and they are gorgeous! The light pink tones of this wedding mixed with the soft vibes of the photography by Aga Jones Photography, created seriously amazing shots. This group was so much fun to work with and we are so excited to share some of our favorites from their day.

We canNOT get enough of these bridesmaid dresses. The different styles along with the floral pattern and blush tones will forever be one of our favorite bridal party looks.

Our ceremony site is very special to us (for obvious reasons) and we love it dressed up with floral garlands/aisle accents or left alone for the natural beauty to shine. Harmony and Matt decided to not add extra decor, and it was the perfect choice for their wedding.

Farm Table Inspiration

Farm tables have been popular for quite some time, and it doesn’t seem like they are going anywhere! These tables are especially popular at the Ranch. The natural wood feel goes perfectly with the garden vibes of the Ranch, and most clients think of them as more of a blank canvas. Whether the vision is to have full garlands down the tables, or scattered arrangements, the farm table is a great option if you can fit them into your budget!

These first photos are from a wedding where the floral was more simple. The florist added some smaller arrangements and scattered the tables with votives. This simplicity really let the natural wood shine!

Some Brides and Grooms like to add some more color. This couple added some fun and colorful napkins AND check out those table numbers! We love how this look turned out and it fit the couples’ personality perfectly.

This couple wanted to keep the farm tables separate and they added much more detail to each one. The gold candlesticks added the perfect touch of glam, while the garland and loose flower arrangements still kept with the Ranch feel.

If farm tables will not work for the whole wedding, you can always just use them for a cool head table! This is exactly what the Bride and Groom did for the photo below. The farm tables with the lush greenery AND those chairs, this head table was definitely a gorgeous focal point!

Ceremony Decor Inspiration

The ceremony site at Leo Carrillo Ranch is very unique and FULL of charm. Our California Pepper Tree is such a beautiful focal point of the patio and is definitely one of the details that brides and grooms love about the Ranch. Because of the natural beauty, most couples keep the décor in this area very simple.

One of the most popular décor additions we see in this space, is a floral garden on the tree. It adds just enough to make the space more personal without taking away from the rest of the surroundings.

One bride wanted to incorporate rugs down the aisle and we love the feel it gave the space, and when you want to add a touch that is not only for show, add Mariachis like the couple did below!

Veronica + Tyler – Colored with Culture at Leo Carrillo Ranch

We loved this day! Veronica and Tyler shared their “I Dos” with us at the Ranch with flair and color. Their fiesta theme was one to remember! Veronica stunned in her lace white gown with a Spanish veil that wowed. Their tables were covered in colorful serape table runners underneath vases filled with pinto beans alongside cacti and cans filled with florals. Colorful papel picado was strung along the market lights to add that extra color – love it! Their escort cards were adorable and in the form of limes with toothpicks. Towards the end of the night, guests took the tiny ceramic magnets as wedding favors to remember Veronica and Tyler’s big day! As always, we love clever signs and “Fiesta today, Siesta mañana” did not disappoint!

Megan + Mike: Married at Leo Carrillo Ranch

Megan and Mike celebrated their day of love with us at Leo Carrillo Ranch and we’re so glad they did! Their day was filled with simple elegance from the beginning – even our resident peacocks loved it! The bridesmaids’ bouquets complimented their beige dresses perfectly. The newlyweds got married in front of our pretty pepper tree, wrapped in a gorgeous garland of greens and florals by The Bloom of Time. The reception featured farm tables, adorned in more greens and florals. All of these details were perfectly and wonderfully captured Morgan Hydinger.

Jenna + Chris – So Chic at the Ranch

Jenna and Chris celebrated their special day with us at the Ranch – and did so with flair! The newlyweds shared their vows in front of the Hacienda, decorated with desert plants in stunning white vases, towering on wooden pillars. Their dinner tables were adorned in eucalyptus leaves, succulents and assorted florals – accompanied with tall, white cylindrical candles. Lounge furniture was used at the head table for the Bride and Groom and for guests to mingle around. We loved every part of this wedding! And, of course, we LOVE witty hashtags! The Sweetest Sweetheart Table Details

Among all of the decisions that Brides and Grooms face during wedding planning, there is the choice between a sweetheart table and a head table. There are, of course, quite a few different ways to look at this debate. If you go with a head table you can be surrounded by your nearest and dearest (and most fun!) friends and family. But, if you go with a  sweetheart table you do not have to worry about having about the number of seats getting out of hand after you add in all of their dates!  And our favorite reason to have a sweetheart table…… they are so much fun to decorate! Whether the couple wants to keep it more simple, or go all out, we love how floral and other personal items really dress up the table and make it stand out! These are just a few recent examples from the Ranch 🙂
